We’re Hiring Appliance Service Technicians!

We service over 1,000 laundry facilities, apartments, condominiums, and universities, we are dedicated to meeting the high expectations of our customers.
We are seeking a Service Technician and Install Staff Support. Candidates should have 1-2 years of appliance service or general mechanical experience. Assigned territory to cover the Chicago Metropolitan area. Experience with Speed Queen Equipment, or service of appliances a plus. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Prompt service call completion of route locations during business hours (no evening or weekend calls).
– Ability to communicate with building managers and engineers, company dispatchers and route coordinator.
– Responsible for timely resolution of open calls with consideration given for time sensitive locations.
– Receive and assess the condition of incoming/returning field equipment for disposal or inventory
Family Pride is also looking for install support.
– Follow instructions to prioritize the fulfillment of sales and work orders
– Rebuild/refurbish equipment to be placed back in service or for resale
– Report on completed jobs, work order statuses, equipment transfers, and inventories
– Install, program and test software applications and card readers to advised specifications
– All duties and tasks include but are not limited to the aforementioned.
